Speech Provider

This is my 9th year as a Speech Language Pathologist for District 75. I have had the pleasure of being with P53K since 2015. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences from Brooklyn College, Masters of Arts in Speech and Language Pathology from Saint John’s University of Queens. In 2020, I pursued my dream of starting my own practice, You*Nique Therapy LLC- Speech and Language Therapy services serving individuals in Brooklyn where I reside with my husband. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Occupational Therapist

This is my first year in P53K and my 2nd year working in District 75. I completed my Masters in Occupational Therapy through Touro College Midtown Campus. I believe that all children are capable of accomplishing extraordinary things if the adults in their lives believe in them. This belief guides how I view occupational therapy and the impact it can have on children’s lives. I enjoy traveling, baking, and spending time with family and friends.

This is my first year in P53K and 2nd year working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting. I received my Master's in Occupational Therapy from Mercy College. I am passionate about working with children to build on their areas of strength and enhance their abilities in school and beyond. I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Teacher 12:1:4

Hello! I’m Sarah Adler and this is my 5th year as a teacher with P53K. I was a 6:1:1 teacher for 3 years and this is my 2nd year as a 12:1:4 teacher. I studied Elementary Special Education at the University of Maryland for my undergraduate degree and received my Master’s Degree in Severe/Multiple Childhood Disabilities from CUNY Hunter. I love teaching students with severe and multiple disabilities to increase their independence, communication skills, and activities of daily living so that they are able to access their community with their peers. I believe that all students have the potential to learn and grow, regardless of their disability. Outside of school, I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, and exploring new cuisines.

English as a New Language Teacher

Hi! I have been having the pleasure of working with the students of P53K for 4 years. Before I was working at P186X in the Bronx for 11 years. I have been teaching for 31 years. I am Ukrainian, graduated from the Minsk State Linguistic University in the capital of Belarus, Touro College in NYC, and I got my Administrative Degree from the College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. When I am not working, I read, hike, visit museums or watch movies.

Hi, my name is Bridget McGlone. I have been with P53K since 2019! I have Bachelors’ degrees in Music and Communication Disorders from Syracuse University, and a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Disabilities from SUNY New Paltz. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dog Penny and going to concerts.

Hi, my name is Melissa Rodriguez. I recently joined the P53K team last year and so excited to be continuing into another great year! I received my Master’s Degree in Special Education from Roger Williams University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. In my classroom, everyday we work towards becoming our true and independent selves. In my free time, I love to exercise such as cycling or weightlifting and spending time with friends and family! Can’t wait to make more memories with the P53K family!

Teacher 8:1:1

Hi! My name is Jamie Lachmund, I’ve been teaching since 2013, and this is my 7th year teaching at P53K@437, 6 years of which teaching a 6:1:1 class. I received my master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in autism from Long Island University Post. I have a passion for helping students with disabilities become more independent in all areas of their daily life. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, fitness and spending time with family and friends.

Hi, my name is Ariel Randall and I have been teaching since 2019. This is my 1st year at P53K@437 teaching a 12:1:1 class. I received my Master’s Degree from the College of Mount Saint Vincent for Special and General Education.

Hello, I’m Maria Lopez. This is my 6th year at P553K @ 437 as a teacher in the 6:1:1 class. I have a Dual Master's Degree in Early Childhood education and Special Education and have almost 20 years of experience in the special education field as a teacher.
